OK, thanks! I guess we are waiting for Intel to help us out. The router I'm using now is D-Link DWR-921with firmware V1.00(PL), but I have had the same issue with many other (public) routers. I'm sorry, I know this is not the place to ask, but - as a temporary solution - could you suggest a nano size USB wifi adapter that just works under 14.04 without any workarounds like ndiswrapper?
