Are you sure you can create a copy with drag and drop with ctrl within the same 
folder ?
I cant with my 1.0.1.

Yes, I can reproduce that too, when you are DND over a folder you can
type Ctrl/Ctrl+Shift/Shift to change the action to copy/create
shortcut/move but this doesn't work when the mouse is over the white
space (background) of the current directory.
