Please reinstall 1.2.0-3ubuntu4.1 and run the following command:
$ xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p /xfce4-power-manager/logind-
handle-lid-switch -s false
In case it does not solve the problem, test with setting the value to
true:
$ xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p /xfce4-power-manager/logind-
handle-lid-switch -s true
