I'm meaning that a login into the desktop creates
~/.config/pcmanfm/LXDE/pcmanfm.conf (if it doesn't already exist) with
the invalid entries.

Only installing pcmanfm does indeed not create this file (as it would be
otherwise probably a bug). You have to login into the desktop to create
this file.

Is there no ~/.config/pcmanfm/LXDE/pcmanfm.conf on your system after you
login into the desktop?
