     You are welcome, and I think I was just doing what I should do.
That might be how the open source project works.

     And regarding the BIOS upgrade, my Dell PCs have UEFI and support
to upgrade BIOS directly from BIOS using the windows upgrade file when
power on. That's why I could upgrade it even I didn't have Windows
installed. You might check if you are lucky enough to have that option
in your BIOS. And you could also try to use a USB stick to run a
temporary Windows image, but it might need some extra work I think.
