There is nothing I can do to improve the legibility of that message. As an alternative, I installed the same 14.04.2 file as a VM under VirtualBox. The only difference in install options appears to be the format of the U disk partition. I selected the VirtualBox choice, rather than HDD, which was the choice for a VM that would operate under Parallels as well.
There were no error messages. However, after installing and restarting, once again the desktop size is small and the res low‹640x480, something like that. And the so-called built-in display does not permit changes. So again, the U VM is of no use, because any window one opens on the U desktop, is taller than the desktop. While one can slide the inner window from side to side to view the horizontal extent, you can¹t see the lower part of the window.
