I've also used the latest drivers from 01.org... https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads
No dice. Same graphics crash. I am now on 15.04 and the issues persist unless I switch to VESA. Gareth, yes, I believe that using VESA bypasses the GPU. What I find is that the heavier the memory use the more often the crash. If I just browse the web or do simple tasks then the crash doesn't happen as often. However if I spin up several VMs then I can almost predict a crash will happen soon after. I wouldn't say it's like clockwork, but it's generally very quick to come about. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1367825 Title: Intel i915 video driver causing random crashes on i7 Z77 system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/1367825/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
