hi just installed this os to my laptop after having many issues with windows
8.1 and the horrible horrible layout etc!!
I have successfully installed ubuntu 15.04 desktop edition. I am absolutely
delighted with the os and credit to all the team from top to bottom in
producing this software its amazing.
Just a couple of issues i need to fix:
1) non of my usb ports are working (did previously so the hardware is fine)
2) on start up i can't go straight to my login page, i get the command type
line load up wth various info and by trial and error i can only get to login
page by typing 'systemctl default' this was listed higher up in the command
text and it worked
3) when shutting down i go to shutdown/restart icons but again defauts to a
black command screen so i just have to push power off
any help would be great cheers.
for your info i am using a toshiba satellite C850-1KN
