I could just reproduce the crash by the following steps: 0. Install Wily on a fresh formated Btrfs partition (this works successfully). 1. Try to install Wily again: 2. Select the partition from Step 0 as root fs, but do not format it. 3. Start installation. Ubiquity crashes at the stage when the account for the first user on the new system would be created.
One interesting note: Ubiquity skips the screen where it asks for the name of the primary user/computer name/logon options. Maybe this is directly related to the crash? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1500757 Title: Ubiquity crashed during installation on Btrfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1500757/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
