Public bug reported: There is no way to give an Ubuntu machine to my little cousin and ensure his safety like I can with a Windows or Mac OS one.
I posed a now-long-standing question on Ask Ubuntu and SoftwareRecs.SE which outlines all my requirements for a parental control mechanism. This question has had bounty offered, but was never answered, which eventually led me here: http://softwarerecs.stackexchange.com/questions/11184/how-do-i-set-up-parental-controls-on-ubuntu-14-04-lts-tahr ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1501816 Title: [Feature Request] Parental controls are impossible.
