Public bug reported:
When running xsnow by executing it in Terminal nothing happens. I am
running Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 with GNOME 3.16, though when I was on Ubuntu
(Unity) 14.10 it also did not work. All that happens when it is run is I
get this output in Terminal:
