Colin I've tried kubuntu gutsy dvd iso, snaphot 20070925.1 and the bug is still here!!!
I've tried this from my VirtualBox: 1) installing Italian language from live without network, result: ubiquity freeze (100% cpu eater) @ 87% during language installation 2) installing Spanish language from live without network, result: installation complete but no spanish installation (tried to fetch from internet instead dvd or at least after failure from internet because no connection) 3) retryed 1) and same result, so Italian language seems not installable without internet!
