I am using xubuntu, and it requires 3 clicks from the release announcement to find any reference to this issue. You have to go to:
http://xubuntu.org/news/xubuntu-15-10-release/ then click to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WilyWerewolf/FinalRelease/Xubuntu and then click to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WilyWerewolf/ReleaseNotes#Known_issues At least now I know to go back to open source drivers fully before upgrading in the future. Thanks to everyone here for the helpful info. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1493888 Title: FGLRX incompatible with kernel 4.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1493888/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
