Hi Jonah Thanks for reporting this bug. I think this problem may be similar to the one described in this bug: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/imagemagick/+bug/86587, which occurs when one uses the tracker indexing engine. Do you have tracker installed and is it running? You can check as follows by typing the following two commands in a terminal and pasting the result in this bug report: dpkg --get-selections tracke and : ps -aux | grep trackerd
