"After searching before submitting this report I have learned that SSD support for RAID is not yet implemented in Ubuntu."
No... SDD, HDD, usb flash drive, or loopback file... mdadm doesn't care; it works on anything. The problem appears to be that grub can't find the raid array and the partitions it contains. I suspect this is due to the fact that you are using an intel fakeraid, which is now handled by mdadm instead of dmraid, and grub hasn't been updated to handle this ( since it still is a fakeraid even though it is handled by mdadm ). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1508885 Title: RAID0 install on 2 x 120GB Samsung Evo840 SSDs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1508885/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
