Won't fix +1 Pre-Depends is really an easy work-around!!
I see problems with dpkg-divert, but I also see work-arounds and room for discussions and improvements of individual packages. I don't think we need to say that "dpkg-divert" should be discouraged because of debian policy, nor do I see a need that we should require changes to packages that are functional because of diversions of configuration files by some other package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483923 Title: dpkg-divert breaks nginx installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nginx/+bug/1483923/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
