The request is to add TAR register support, PPR, DSCR as miscellaneous registers. This request also covers a set of TM related ptrace requests covering related SPR and various check-pointed registers. This is actually a fix for a issue related to DSCR value that were being discussed when the ptrace patch was submitted (as mentioned in https://bugzilla.linux.ibm.com/show_bug.cgi?id=104280#c5).
