Public bug reported:
lxd does not currently start on s390x:
Setting up lxd (0.23-0ubuntu3) ...
[...]
Job for lxd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status lxd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
invoke-rc.d: initscript lxd, action "start" failed.
Dec 10 06:39:36 aupkg01 systemd[1]: Starting Container hypervisor based on
LXC...
Dec 10 06:39:36 aupkg01 lxd[3083]: error: Architecture isn't supported: s390x
Dec 10 06:39:36 aupkg01 systemd[1]: lxd.service: Main process exited,
code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
It would be nice to add support for that so that we can use LXD for
autopkgtesting. I figure that as a server platform, s390x will also be a
target for using containers.
