Public bug reported: indicator-applet-appmenu displays undesired/redundant menu items during and after execution of "client side decorations (CSD)" enabled applications.
For example: * gnome-terminal: In addition to regular items has submenu "Unknow Application Name". * After execution of Calc or Disk-Analyzer, consequently opened applications will "inherit" corresponding menu items in addition to their own. The issue appears in version 12.10.2+15.04.20141127.2-0ubuntu1 (and at least 1 before) and might be related to the following commit: IndicatorAppmenu: add modes support and implement unity-all-menus mode (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~indicator-applet-developers/indicator-appmenu/trunk.15.10/revision/267). Corresponding changes were added to Unity-applet but not to indicator-applet. ** Affects: indicator-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - indicator-applet-appmenu displays undesired items for csd enabled + indicator-applet-appmenu displays undesired items for csd enabled applications -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1541531 Title: indicator-applet-appmenu displays undesired items for csd enabled applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-applet/+bug/1541531/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
