Workaround: edit `/etc/init.d/dcbd` and remove `network` from the `# Required-Start:` header. Then run `sudo update-rc.d dcbd defaults` and `sudo apt-get install -f` to remove `dcbd`.
The problem is that there's no `initd` service `network`. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1553395 Title: removal of dcbd fails due to "update-rc.d: error: no runlevel symlinks to modify, aborting!"
