It was acceptable for lxc to do so because the bridge would always be
running and because the subnet was constant.

With LXD, the bridge is started and stopped automatically for you,
having this restart NetworkManager every time would be a very very sucky
experience for desktop users (randomly killing your network, wifi, vpn,
...) and the subnet not being fixed would mean having to re-generate the
file every time the user reconfigures the package.


So back to this not being acceptable for us to do automatically.
