postgresql-9.5-postgis-2.2 only depends on library packages.
The postgis package contained shp2pgsql-gui which has a dependency on
libglib2.0-0 & libgtk2.0-0, these pull in various other graphics related
library packages.
In postgis (2.2.2+dfsg-2~exp1) the shp2pgsql-gui has been moved to a
separate postgis-gui package which is only suggested by the other
packages. This should not pull graphics related packages unless you
choose to install the postgis-gui package.
