Public bug reported:
1. Install Xubuntu 16.04 "Xenial Xerus".
2. Install the geany and geany-plugins-py packages.
3. Launch Geany and open Tools -> Plugin Manager.
4. Enable GeanyPy by clicking the checkbox next to it.
Result: Geany crashes.
Fix: install the python-gtk2 package.
