I have gnome-power-manager to shutdown the system when I press the power button. As far as I can tell, there is no setting that should cause the system to automatically hibernate, because you can't specify to do anything other than suspend (sleep) in gnome-power-manager.
What I would like to know is why the option to choose suspend or hibernate when idle disappeared, but that is irrespective of this bug. :-) -- when returning from suspend my laptop tries to hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149665 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
