It looks like the mplayer2 package you installed from a PPA and probably
libdvdnav4 were greater than the versions available in 16.04, hence the
problem calculating the upgrade.
Broken libdvdnav4:amd64 Breaks on mplayer2 [ amd64 ] <
2.0-701-gd4c5b7f-2ubuntu2 -> 2:1.2.1-1ubuntu1 > ( universe/oldlibs ) (<
2.0-728-g2c378c7-4)
Considering mplayer2:amd64 -1 as a solution to libdvdnav4:amd64 3
Upgrading mplayer2:amd64 due to Breaks field in libdvdnav4:amd64
Investigating (9) mplayer2 [ amd64 ] < 2.0-701-gd4c5b7f-2ubuntu2 ->
2:1.2.1-1ubuntu1 > ( universe/oldlibs )
Broken mplayer2:amd64 Depends on mplayer [ amd64 ] < none -> 2:1.2.1-1ubuntu1 >
( universe/video ) (>= 2:1.2)
Considering mplayer:amd64 0 as a solution to mplayer2:amd64 -1
MarkKeep mplayer2 [ amd64 ] < 2.0-701-gd4c5b7f-2ubuntu2 -> 2:1.2.1-1ubuntu1 >
( universe/oldlibs ) FU=0
Holding Back mplayer2:amd64 rather than change mplayer:amd64
