+ 1) Enable the trusty-proposed repository, and install the
"linux-generic-lts-xenial"

+ 2) Install one of the available nvidia-304 packages or, if the nvidia
+ driver is already installed, dist-upgrade after adding the -proposed
+ repository.

+ 3) Restart and see if the system boots correctly. If unsure, please
