Thank you for the quick reply. I was not aware that 'Sans' was causing the 
problem.
I really just changed the font size and didn't change the font itself (I used 
the default choice for the font which was 'Sans'). I think this is a bit 
confusing from a UI point of view (having the default being a very bad choice).
