If I understand correctly this is ubuntu 'official' bug reporting and
support offer to end users.

Snarky or not is what you can see, the bug report started and after 3
month there is a reply. Even though the reply is not really well thought
through.

If you are the maintainer of this ubuntu bug report it is your
responsibility to do it properly. No matter it is paid or volunteer. If
I am unable to do it properly then I would withdrawn from it.

Thousands of volunteers working on open source project and they do
deliver high quality support. The reason of volunteering is not for not
well thought and ignorance.

If this level of service is what Ubuntu offers then I will have no word
more but moving away from Ubuntu.

If you are not the maintainer of this 'official' Ubuntu bug report then
what I have said does not apply to you. I am replying to the Ubuntu
support maintainer -
