Public bug reported:

Aborting the command `sudo do-release-upgrade -d`, when it asks if you
wish to abort, should revert changes that the command made (if I
understand correctly, maybe it is not supposed to do so, but then why
does it give the option to abort at all?) but it doesn't. Specifically,
it doesn't revert the change to `lsb_release -a` or the zesty entries in
sources.list to yakkety. Thus, one is using the Zesty repositories on a
Yakkety machine without realising.

The behaviour of do-release-upgrade, I think, should be changed so that
'abort' reverts any changes that do-release-upgrade made. I would also
appreciate support on reverting these changes manually however - as you
can see, ubuntu-bug thinks that I am on Zesty but I am not.
