Public bug reported:

s-nail 14.8.6-1 amd64 on Ubuntu 16.04.01 LTS

I am sending an email using /usr/bin/mailx which points to
/etc/alternatives/mailx which points to /usr/bin/s-nail

I am setting the options
smime-ca-dir, smime-ca-file, [email protected], smtp and
smtp-use-starttls in the $HOME/.mailrc file.

I then send an email using the command "date | mailx -s test
[email protected]"

The mail arrives and is S/MIME encrypted (the body consists of a
smime.p7m attachment), however I cannot decrypt the mail body (tested in
Apple Mail on iOS 10.1.1).

It appears that s-nail is replacing heirloom-mailx.

When doing the exact same thing (identical mailrc file, identical PEM
files) on a system using heirloom-mailx 12.5-2+deb7u1build0.14.04.1 on
Ubuntu 14.04.05 LTS the mail arrives and can be decrypted.
