Public bug reported:
I installed Freeplane as supplied through Ubuntu Gnome distribution.
Installation ran to th end normally, but then software did not run at all, with
no error message or any other info.
Running through a terminal supplied the following error message :

Error: Command "-istart org.freeplane.core" failed, Failed to read exports:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/chantal/exports (Aucun fichier ou dossier

In fact, no "exports" file nor folder was generated during application set up
within user home. But why should it be, since it is based on java? Checked out
via Synaptic: java is currently set up within this configuration.
Could it be an issue with the Freeplane package supplied with Ubuntu?
