Ivan, I don't think it's possible to do such a thing in a generic manner, i.e. neither snapd nor snapcraft will be able to help you, since neither know what your intentions are regarding that path. Neither tool even knows how to parse your config file. That's why snapd defines the various environment variables that it defines-- so you can use them in such files.
