Hi, on an upgrade it tries to ensure that the internal DB structures are up to date. Doing so processes the schema of all tables.
In your case I see in the log: Repairing tables performance_schema_o.cond_instances Error : Table 'performance_schema_o.cond_instances' doesn't exist status : Operation failed That said does your setup do anything special to these usually internal tables? Also I'm not sure, but around that there was a bug in the past related to lower/upper case table names (https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=57609) but that should be all fixed in the mysql 5.7 that you are running. ** Bug watch added: MySQL Bug System #57609 http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=57609 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1658304 Title: package mysql-server 5.7.17-0ubuntu0.16.10.1 failed to install/upgrade: vereistenproblemen - blijft ongeconfigureerd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1658304/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
