/me is ignoring any irony for now Joshua just finally cleaned and handled a lot of bugs that were missed to have taken care of - thank you for that. That said if you come by hundreds of similar issues sometimes answers become rather short. That said in such cases as yours I usually recommend following this askubuntu Entry which covers the case in a good way. http://askubuntu.com/questions/148715/how-to-fix-package-is-in-a-very-bad-inconsistent-state-error -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1585295 Title: package openssh-client 1:7.2p2-4 failed to install/upgrade: package is in a very bad inconsistent state; you should reinstall it before attempting configuration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/1585295/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
