This system doesn't and didn't use raid devices. So I have done the zipl and ready to do the reboot. root@ub01:/boot# zipl Using config file '/etc/zipl.conf' Ignore section 'old': Image file '/boot/vmlinuz.old' Run /lib/s390-tools/zipl_helper.device-mapper /boot Building bootmap in '/boot' Building menu 'menu' Adding #1: IPL section 'ubuntu' (default) Ignore #2: IPL section 'old' Preparing boot device: dm-0. Done. ------- Comment From [email protected] 2017-02-07 06:18 EDT------- the syslog size is 17MB after compressed.
