Not sure if that is related as the permissions can be set up in various ways, but the last mysql error log entry is: 2017-01-24T08:12:08.925093Z 3 [Note] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) Since I can't reproduce I have to ask: - Is this error showing up over and over again? - Did you modify the mysql config or mysql logins in a way that this might cause the issue? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1658922 Title: package mysql-server-5.7 5.7.17-0ubuntu0.16.10.1 failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso installato script di post- installation ha restituito lo stato di errore 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1658922/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
