Public bug reported: libunity-core-6.0-9 installs this file /usr/share/unity/icons/searchingthedashlegalnotice.html
unity-control-center installs this file /usr/share/unity-control-center/searchingthedashlegalnotice.html The problem in the Unity code is that everything in the resources/ folder is installed to /usr/share/unity/icons/ https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~unity- team/unity/trunk/view/head:/CMakeLists.txt#L315 This also includes dash-widgets.json which is already installed to /usr/share/unity/themes/ Does Unity need to ship the legalnotice html? Does it even display it anywhere? On Ubuntu, unity already recommends unity-control-center. One more thing. This file looks like it was accidentally committed to bzr: resources/launcher_icon_glow_62.svg.save ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1670246 Title: searchingthedashlegalnotice.html should not be installed in /usr/share/icons/ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1670246/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
