This isn't a bug. If everyone here has a common PCIe bus (Asus K501UW laptop), then it's an internal hardware issue with the Intel PCIe bus. I get the same hardware error messages in Windows as well. Multiple laptops of the same model had this issue. Reported the issue to Amazon where I received the laptop and was refunded $50 for my troubleshooting efforts.
