A problem of this bug seems to be that it occurs only once for each user. So a user who observed in in the first place will not observe it again when it comes to verification of the SRU. So the SRU gets verified even without the bug actually fixed. The complaints after the SRU having put into -updates are from users who only updated their systems afterwards and not before the initial bug report.
