We have two branches: - LTS - feature Ubuntu LTS releases track the LTS branch (LXD 2.0.x), other non-LTS Ubuntu releases ship with whatever was the latest upstream release at the time of release (2.4.1 in the case of Ubuntu 16.10).
Upstream LXD commits to maintaining the LTS branch for 5 years with very active bugfix backports and occasional minor feature addition as was required for raw.idmap. For the feature branch, we expect users to always run the latest release. Support for older releases shipped by distributions (as 2.4.1 is) is limited to critical security updates. Minor bugfixes and feature additions are NOT pushed to those. Instead what we do offer is the latest upstream release of LXD in the backports pocket, as indicated in my original reply. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1679194 Title: error: Bad key: raw.idmap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxd/+bug/1679194/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
