Good news: For the people that are not able to compile a custom kernel, I provide the download links of the binarys for you:
- Linux 4.10.3 AMD64 with Ubuntu patches - Compiled from official ubuntu "linux-source-4.10.0" package - AMD GPIO PIN Control removed - No other changes from default configuration - Compiled on Linux Mint 18.1 (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) Should work for 16.04 and has been tested in a VM. I will test it tomorrow on a Gigabyte X370-G5 System. Could you test it and provide me with further feedback? https://www.nextized.net/repo/linux/ubuntu- linux-4.10.3_ryzen01_amd64_generic.tar.gz Thanks you nextized -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1671360 Title: System doesn't boot properly on Gigabyte AM4 motherboards (AMD Ryzen) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1671360/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
