Hello! First of all, thank you for your answer; en please escuse my english.
Second: my real problem was tu install a wifi driver for my lenovo B590 (broadcom wifi card). I also realise that the graphic interface was blocked with an update. Unable to progress. I push "Install" and nothing. Severels times reboot and still nothing, for severals days. Today, I found a solution on the ubuntu support forum. (after writing to you). I cann't find the exact page. But I copy/paste the commands in terminal. This unblocked the situation: sudo apt update sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y autoremove && sudo apt-get -y upgrade cd /var/lib/apt/lists && sudo rm -rf lock cd /var/lib/dpkg && sudo rm -rf lock I'm not un super user of linux. I'm not sure if this is the best solution, but it worked. Update is ok ans I was able to install the wifi driver withe terminal. Later, I was able to install also "Synaptic". Thank you for your help. 2017-05-26 21:05 GMT+02:00 Steve Langasek <[email protected]>: > Thanks for reporting this bug.
