IMHO, I would suggest, to make the Xenial SRU process easier, to
continue with the original bug and nominate Xenial to it and then mark
this bug as duplicate.
It'll facilitate the verification for the SRU team, based on previous
experience I have seen with them where 2 bugs were open for the same
problem but for different releases.
