Hi Joshua, Thanks for your input. Pardon my ignorance but I guess I need to place or extract the downloaded contents somewhere in the root directory after down load. When I ran the command it first had a message (which I don't remeber) but meaning it could not locate the files or something.
Then I opted the right-click and open with package installer. It did initiate until it reached 95% then stalled. Now that I try the command again it says it's locked [dpkg: error: dpkg status database is locked by another process] Any idea to get around this?
