Alessandro, are you certain your display is "squished" like
fstafforini's, or is it possible yours is offset? If the latter, than
it's probably a different bug.
In any case, it looks like the issue is an incorrect modeline:

Alessandro, could you please upload your /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the
output of lspci -vvnn?
fstafforini, could you please upload your lspci -vvnn, and also try
changing your modeline as Alessandro did?
