This problem has return for me as of July 26th 2017. Current version of FF is 54. OS is unchanged from 32-bit Ubuntu. I went on vacation for three weeks prior to this, and when I returned, everything was working. I used Netflix for a couple of weeks, and today the problem returned, exactly as before. I don't know who is screwing this up, but they really ought to stop.
