You got sound working - how did you do it? Which Toshiba do you have? Which version of the bios? What did your DSDT changes look like? Which version of the kernel? Etc? Anything special for the version of ALSA that you describe? I think we've all followed about 100 "howto's" and "fixes" with a lot of frustration. If you can make it happen - please do share!!
