Hello Rock, sorry for taking so long to look at this bug again. We seem to be dealing with multiple issues here. This bug report is about the postinst script of samba packages failing because the service can't be started. After you fixed /etc/samba/smb.conf with regards to the invalid "user = share" configuration parameter, does the package installation proceed without errors? I.e., do these commands finish correctly:
sudo apt update sudo apt -f install And, since this was some time ago, you might also want to try an upgrade again: sudo apt dist-upgrade And at the end, check if the services are running: sudo systemctl status smbd.service nmbd.service winbind.service Thanks! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1707178 Title: package winbind 2:4.3.11+dfsg-0ubuntu0.16.04.9 failed to install/upgrade: problèmes de dépendances - laissé non configuré To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1707178/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
