Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu 17.10, in certain cases, when the menu is too long (because it
contains too many elements), the bottom elements of the list does not appear,
because they are out of the screen (see attached image, Remmina using
appindicator in Ubuntu 17.10).
This problem could (maybe) be fixed making the menu automatically scrollable
when it's too long for the screen resolution.

NOTE: there is a similar open issue in gnome-shell-extension-appindicator
https://github.com/ubuntu/gnome-shell-extension-appindicator/issues/73

** Affects: gnome-shell-extension-appindicator (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

to stay in the screen"
