  I had two Nemo windows open on different desktops, to transfer quite a
  few photos from a series of directories to another series of
  directories, based on date and place taken.
  
  This went well briefly, but then Nemo disappeared.
  
  I restarted both windows, but from terminal.
  
  I did the exact last thing I had been doing, which was to open up the
  exact directories in each window between which I wished to transfer
  photos.
  
  When I tried to open the "from" directory, Nemo disappeared again.
  (although when I just again tried to do so, so far it seems to be working...)
  
  Anyway, I found that the terminal output ended with "Segmentation fault (core 
dumped)",
  and as is usual with these crashes, I got the "No such file or directory" 
window a
  couple of minutes later.
  
  I will attach a text file of the terminal output, and a screenshot of
  the error window below.
